what I need at the moment

Brain Juice. I NEED U SO MUCH.

I have an exam coming up in less than 10 hours time and I am a bit tired the subject. Unsure of what to study and unsure of which part to concentrate on. I stay indoor for a long time n the furthest I went today is to my kitchen to cook my lunch. It's the healthiest meal I had during my exam period. Chinese Steak + Broccoli + Carrots

it looks a bit dry but I like it.

Ophthalmic Materials, why are u so factual? It's always either-you-know-it-or-you-don't stuff! Unfair. But, I like the calculation part.

Biological timer is a bit crazy by sleeping at odd hours. It's not good, I know! Food has not been very healthy either. I have been drinking Nescafe Vanilla Latte (recommended, very nice), Coffee, Hot choc, Regular Latte as well as milk coffee to keep me awake. However, I do not want to over-drink them so that I'm not addictive. Cannot deny that i am already addicted to hot chocolate!

It's not early now so I better get back to my studies and take a good sleep for tomorrow's exam! Wish me luck!

I will blog after my exam as I hav lots of stuff to share, including my chocolate diary!

Another year has begun...

Can't believe with a blink of an eye, we had said goodbye to 2008. TIME FLIES~~~

I have to make a some New Year Resolution for myself but i'm a wee bit lazy to type them all out now. Will do it soon. And YOU, all of YOU out there should help me keep track of it.

Here's a picture of mine, took recently in one of my last trip in 2008. Birmingham.

Healthier lifestyle?

What would you do when your pants become tight?
What would you do when you feels you eat more?
What would think your body will be like if u sit in the room all day apart from sleep and cooking?
What do you think when you are best friend with chocolate?

That's about me.. I think I will be putting on weight this winter. It's nothing good. Sweet food is all you think this season.

When I want to drink something warm, I think of Hot Chocolate with marshmallow on top.
When I want a dessert, I think of chocolate cake.
When I want to chill something sweet, I think of chocolate bar.
I am so addicted to chocolate!

Many people cares about calories on food but I understand nothing about that because I dont care. As a result in years, you might see me like this:

That doesnt looks good on me.

Hence, I decided that I have to go to the gym, which I went few hours ago. My last gym entry was about half a year ago. I should keep going, on and on, to keep fit!

Let me show you one pic. On your right, is the gym of my uni. Kinda modern though.

I should start loving gym again. KEEP FIT, ANNA!!

It was done. But more ahead!

2 Class Test
3 Practical Assessment
1 Poster Presentation.

All done in less than 100hours of a week,a tough week! Can't believe it's finally over and Christmas holiday is ahead!

Second semester seems to be gone too quickly, never even feel that it's holiday now. Kinda stress a wee bit as there's exams coming up in January! I know it's quite a distance away but i have plans of fun in the month of December. So, time is precious to me. Have to grab good opportunity to do something that is beneficial.

Was there, on my own

29th November 2008

The Lighthouse.

It's a place for tourist and I am not sure whether should I be consider one. I think I am a student cum tourist. On that day, I went out to enjoy some Christmas spirit (as mentioned in previous blog). Then I passed by this girl:

Christmas at The Lighthouse Shop? That gave me an idea of telling myself to pay a visit. I've been here in Glasgow for more than a year n I've pass by this place for many times but have not been into yet.

The LIGHTHOUSE contains exhibitions, the Mackintosh centre, viewing platform with stuning city view of Glasgow. It also has galleries, design shop and rooftop cafe. Normally, it's admission charge but recently they made an offer of admission free on Saturdays! So I went in!

I first went in to the gift shop and all the products there are so creative, it's house for an art lover. BUT, I could not afford anything there. A simple nice looking notebook may cost 7quids. Way too expensive. So I went up to see the Mackintosh Gallery. I like the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. I am not sure whether can take picture inside, so i didn't.

After seeing a few galleries and exhibition of architecture, I decided to take the lift to go up. While waiting, I saw something interesting:

Did u notice it? The creative Toilet sign & symbols. Like it!

So here it is, the view of Glasgow!

That's basically it. Glasgow is a city so compact, filled with historical and modern buildings. Tall and short, and of various designs. City centre is always busy and seen lots of people rushing with time.

Apart from enjoying the view, I found something interesting which i figure it must have something to do with art.

Love this piece of wall with wee look-through window.

As part of my style, whichever attractions that i go, I must buy some souvenir for remembrance. I got myself this and I think it's the cheapest thing that I can possibly get there.

It's magnets and I think it's cute! I got it from the seasonal craft stalls at The Lighthouse. Look at the baby, isn't him cute?

This short walk to The Lighthouse is much enjoyable and enthusiastic. I have a passion for modern art so I love most of the display there.

Fire on Kuching High School

When I woke up this morning, I saw a text message from Sarah. It's at a pretty awkward time to get a text. And it says "St John room burned down..."

I was like "HUH?!" "WHAT?!" It's a shame

Can you see it? The smoke from fire is from my ex-school!! The school that I like. The building is more than 30 years old! I'm going to miss the old St John room!!

Well, fair enough, the building is old and needs to be rebuild at some point. Funding is another problem for the school.

After all these happenings, I finally realise how important memories are. Those of whom I met in high school and all those precious memories is what I keep.

ON THE OTHER HAND, and on the other side of the world, here in Glasgow, it's freezing!

When I look out the window this morning, there's people walking so carefully, thinking it could be that girl has a pair of slippery shoes. Then, I realise it was snowing last night that there's car covered with snow this morning.

No JOKE! The road is so slippery as the ice skating rink! So scary to walk a wee bit quicker.

This dont looks bad but it actually is! Due to the sunshine that came out in the morning, snow melted to become ice and it's really dangerous. I saw people in my uni pouring salt on the road to reduce the slipperiness.

Well, tribute to the buildings of Kuching High School. And, welcome Mr Snow!
